Fiberglass has many uses in the automotive trade, from complete body shells to up-market bolt-on panels, still skirts, bumpers, spoilers dash panels etc – you name it – can do it. Modern vehicle dimensions sometimes require less than a 1mm alignment tolerance which requires repair shops to have up-to-date chassis alignment equipment – no less than a 3D chassis measuring system and a chassis machine that can cope with a minimum of to any one time.
This allows a particular part of the vehicle to be held in place while the other pulling ram pulls the other back to manufacturer’s specifications.
